This is the culmination of a project under a yearlong Leadership Training course at Worship Harvest Church.

My friend Peggie has completed writing a book called “Turning Pages”. The book is a rich celebration and bold advocacy of the wonders of reading; for instance, as a tool for building new perspectives, or as a panacea for taming the anxieties that track the many uncertainties of existence. What is even more important, is that she has laid out a well-lit path that anyone, regardless of their original reading level, can follow and become a reader.

It is often only taken for granted, that reading is good for you. That is why it is refreshing to hear with specificity and authority, the ways in which that truism holds. And if there is one person that can speak to the subject, my money is on the lady who reads with the same avid intensity whether she is digesting a global leader’s autobiography or studying a cookbook.

Peggie has shared a dense collection of insights addressing how, what & when to read. All of this was achieved using incredibly accessible prose, itself a true mark of a Master. I congratulate her for this important contribution and encourage you all to read it, first , and then go on and read some more.
